educated at Gerlesborgsskolan 1977 – 1979 and at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm 1981 – 1987.

What more to say? I honour tradition, and awareness. I am a slow worker; very slow. I have spent much of my time in children’s company. If you happen to read Swedish, you may want to see the page på svenska for an account of artistic experiences.

I deal with colour and form. I stand in the middle of unended tradition. I am, where the invisible and the visible touch. I like to grind the charcoal, to cut the membrane of an egg yolk; to handle the cinnabar, lapis lazuli and yellow ochre pigments.
Light is every possible colour; matter takes any attainable form; in their meeting, they shape the world.
I am, where the visible and the invisible meet and transform into one another. Where I stand to receive the future, I change the past
measuring death by life.
